| Opinions on these bands? I had the first AR cd and I think it's just a total Hellhammer rip-off, titles like 'Tyrant Emperor' sound like a joke to me... |

Well, was that really a surprise to you ? It´s not supposed to be something else. And for what it is, it is damn good. |

For me, Apokalyptic Raids is more better than Warhammer! This band is a bit boring... |

Apokalyptic Raids is killer. I unfortunately didn't not hear anything of them since their second album. I got their demo back then and was the first who interviewed them from European territories.
Warhammer ever was boring to me. Live appearances has been pretty okay (Slaughter cover, Living Death cover...). _________________

| Co-signed on Apokalyptic Raids being killer and Warhammer being OK but a bit boring. The last two AR albums are excellent!! |

some riffs are definitely stolen yes, the second lp is more original in its own way though. haven't heard their new album yet. Warhammer have their moments but sound slightly boring in the long run.
I'm after WH's 7" ep, if anyone has a copy for trade please pm me. |

WARHAMMER were a fucking Killer band, carrying the HH spirit into a new age, played and conceived by people who were around in the beginning!! Never, ever liked APOCALYPTIC RAIDS at all, despite their honourable intentions. Besides Frank (formerly!) of WARHAMMER is most probably thee sickest and most devoted HELLHAMMER Necromaniac you're likely to meet! He's into the band on a level that's insane!! _________________ "Slit my eyes, for they'll remember..." |

I don't know if "style" was the right word, but I know what you mean, and I agree. _________________ my medium of distant fingers |

| Both are good. My favourite Warhammer would be The Doom Messiah, and as for Apokalyptic Raids, try The Return of the Satanic Rites if you didn't like the debut. It's a Hellhammer worship, not knockoff. They still do it in THEIR kvlt way. |
