|
|
I'm hittin New York City tomorrow.
Any good metal shops, no shit like the Relapse store, last time I went there, the only good things they had were the Messiah demos cd and the Massacra - Final Holocaust CD (which I bought), like any serious metal shops with a good selection of imports and black and old death? |

| Yea, will probly drop in there. I just don't like paying his prices, 15 a CD is a joke to me. I understand why he sells that high, but i'll let someone else buy em. If he has some good rare stuff I might grab some. |

| not much in terms of "metal" shops but try generation records on thompson street they have a metal cd section and downstairs they have a used metal cd/lp section and new titles mixed in the lp section [hells headbangers, nwn prod, peaceville, moonfog etc etc] kims on saint marks place is worth a look, bleecker bob's has some stuff as well, and then there is metal kingdom in queens at 31-17 queens blvd long island city you can take the 7 train to 33rd st and walk 2 blocks towards manhattan skyline and its next to a porno shop. |

When I was in New York couple of years ago, I was so hung out on being a tourist that Bleecker Bobs was the only record shop that I visited. Donīt remember whether they had vinyls, but I was surprised how cheap the CDs were (in Finland CDs costs 20 euros in stores). Record stores are one of the many things that needs to be checked if I ever get there again. |

| When I lived on the East coast, I would go to the city a few times a year and always stop at Generation Records. I always would find of couple good things there, plus the Peculiar Pub is just around the corner. Great bottled beer selection(draft selection is good too) if your into that. |

I went to Zig Zag in NJ and it sucked pretty badly. I did find a Venom shaped disk for a decent price. _________________ The only email I have access to is nwnprod (at) gmail (dot) com. I do not have access to my old Yahoo addresses.

| Vintage Vinyl is good for new CD releases, but their used record selection sucks. Does anyone know of any good shops with good used records sections in the NJ area? |
