I plan on attending. Never have been to a Gathering fest, though I wanted to go last year. I'm gonna make it happen this time, seeing as it's probably the only worthy fest Colorado ever sees.

It's always a great time out there - especially since the middle of the forest is a pretty legit setting for a black metal show. And camping is also a plus Very Happy

This will be my 4th year... really looking forward to seeing Nazxul even though I'll see them at MDF a week prior to this.

The first and only time I went, GOSPEL OF THE HORNS, CEMETERY URN, and SANGUIS IMPEREM all played.

If only HOLOCAUST WOLVES OF THE APOCALYPSE (Bestial Warlust Tribute, featuring D. Bloodstorm on vocals) would've been able to as well, it would've seemed like the best line-up they've ever had.

Looking forward to going. Not looking forward to all the NSBM nerds that crawl out of the woodwork though...

That was a good year and a nice change of pace with the line-up Smile I might have even bumped into you that year without knowing it. The nsbm thing was also more prominent and noticeable last year than '08, heh.

I definitely saw all those bands in one place. KILLER show.

Also, who is the artwork by this time? If it's Beksinski, I don't recognize it.

does a sizable localized 'nsbm' scene exist anywhere? i always assumed it was 1 or 2 lonely dudes in random towns.
