Sorry for the rant, but other than this forum, I can't go on a single "metal" forum without seeing someone talk about how much they love the chugs and gurgles of today's "death metal" bands. I also find it disgusting that these terrible bands consider themselves to be death metal, or any kind of metal for that matter.
Again, I'm sorry for the useless rant.

Are you talking about bands like SikFuk, Anal Blast, Cephalic Carnage, Gorerotted, and so on? Not too much into that stuff, but there are some decent brutal goregrind bands out there. Mostly the older shit from the early nineties. A lot of midwest/east coast stuff comes to mind (Necrosis, Hemdale, Incantation, Mortician, etc.)
I don't know about the 'slam' and 'wigger' thing. Who were you referring to in that regard? |

Hahaha. Even Devourment seem to be taking the piss out of the more wigger like fans of theirs. Apparently Mike Majewski likes Bestial Warlust and Sadistic Exekution, so he isn't really that much of a wigger. Unfortunately there have been many wigger death bands which have ripped off the style of Devourment and made that genre even more lame. |

What comes first in my mind are bands like Dying Fetus and such. It also is a trend here in Germany. Hi hate such music and more their fans. They behave like hippies or even more worse like some gangstas. I hate their closes they wear (hip-hop style with metal shirt). I am really disgusted by these.
First Incantation is absolutely great. Killer sound, killer atmosphere. I do not count that band into that direction...

Yeah, I don't know how someone could lump Incantation in with Mortician and Hemdale. Other then Rahmer doing some vocals for Incantation, I don't hear any similarities whatsoever.
And yes, by wigger, I mean Devourment type stuff. (chug gurgle chug chug *pinch harmonic* chug gurgle gurgle music with lyrics about gutting prostitutes)
