AION sounds more like regular thrash though. There is nothing deathly about it except for the album title.
I like these deathrash albums:
Morbid Saint spectrum of death LP
Sadus illusions LP

I think Possessed debut LP would fit more in death metal cathegory. Good deathrash albums in my book are:
Sadus "Illusions"
Massacra "Final Holocaust" & "Enjoy the Violence"
Exhorder "Slaughter in The Vatican"
Kreator "Endless Pain", "Flag of Hate" and "Pleasure to Kill"
Demolition Hammer "Tortured Existence"
Merciless "The Awakening"
MX "Simoniacal" (PS: first Mutilator LP sux as well, only their demos were great!)
Necrodeath "Into the Macabre"
Messiah 1st + 2nd |
