If not Rainbo, then what US pressing plant is recommended?

United's product still sounds best to me, and their service has stepped up leaps and bounds in the last year or so.

We are in New Orleans but ship worldwide. If you are not in a rush shipping is cheaper than you think. Email or message us and we will not waste your time.

The problem with United is that their vinyl is too thin and prone to warping, especially their 7"s. I guess there aren't many options left in the US.

For whatever gripe people may have about PP/GZ, their products are still better than any factory in the US. Just make sure that you pre-master your audio because their DMM tends to make everything "hot."

For anyone considering using Rainbo, DONT FUCKING DO IT, or at least be very mindful of your own deadline because it'll definitely take forever. I've pretty much given up on using Rainbo for 99% of my releases. Unfotunately I decided use them for the Sabbat boxset which happens to be my biggest and most complex release yet (10 LPs + hardbound book in a metal box etc.). I'm at the tailend of it now, but I'm completely dissatisfied with the way they handled this project. It's fucking frustrating to be told lies after lies when dealing with a project of this scale. Just the logistics of receiving the pallets becomes an ordeal when the factory straight up lies about ship dates.

Btw, I'm brokering this through AtoZ.

I've had enough of their shenanigans too. They recently repressed the Mitochondrion - Archaeaeon 2LP vinyl and promised the solid gold vinyl that we needed for this release. Even sent actual sample pics to the broker which I received. It took 10 fucking weeks just for a repress...all the art was done. When I got the records the color was some concoction of green and yellow swirl. I refused to sell these, so we are going through another plant to get what we need, which I was promised in the first place. So three months and nothing.

Gotta Groove Records in Ohio is class. They do great work. Just like all the US plants, turn can be an issue but they come through and their vinyl is high quality.

Yeah I've had good luck with them as well, but have heard horror stories about them. My guess is that it was an isolated issue.

Any suggestions where to buy blank C-90 & C-60 tapes in Europe (most preferably in Germany)? Need per 100 copies of each minimum, maybe some wholesale agent around?

Edisco, Portugal, sell blank tapes and also makes duplication.

Thanks, e-mailed them for price-list, hope they understand English, heh. I don't need duplication, as search blank tapes to reanimate rather big stock of demos I'm having as covers+master collecting dust for about half decade already... Locally it seems impossible to get C-60 tapes anymore, but they do fit most demos perfectly, so I guess it's worth to try locating some abroad...

Well, they do offer very attractive prices both for tapes (BASF Chrome II tape inside bulk transparent shells) and duplication, but postage costs to Russia are ridiculous - 103 Euro for 10kgs and 177,50 Euro for 20kgs, holy fuck, it seems to be cheaper to order from USA... Surprised I'm usually ordering vinyl supplies (and more) from protected.de, their 20 kg pack do cost me 50 Euro... So, I once again request for tape supplies from the land of 18! Mad
