Take a listen to this. The best discovery I've made as of late. Epic pagan atmospherics forged through Amebix style dark crust. CELTIC CRUST? This stuff is amazing.

If I remember correctly I judged the book by its cover before and dismissed them as some crappy pagan black metal band. How wrong I was.
Now just waiting for the label to answer my e-mail so I can get the new album along with Battle Staffs...

Seven Bloodied Ramparts is definitely one of the top albums this year for me. So fucking good... really original sounding riffs which can occasionally bring newer Enslaved or Primordial to mind... all clad in the Amebix forged battle armour and delivered like a bloody axe blow! Maybe a whiff of the rousing spirit á la new Darkthrone to be found herein too...
Ditch ALL those crap pagan metal acts and get onto BRETWALDAS

Absolutely... Plus, Monolith had some absolutely killer heathen/pagan lyrics to boot. I am really enjoying this band -- and imagining it to be the followup to Monolith.

True. But the similarities with content, sound, etc. are pretty undeniable. I am personally excited to see this style brought in a non charged hair, studded vest, d-beat type fashion. Proper stuff here.
