Grief Foundation is very proud to announce it's 2nd vinyl release:
GRIEFLP002: CAÏNA – THE HEART OF THE MASTER
"The concept for ‘The Heart of the Master’ is based on the pamphlet of the same name, written by Aleister Crowley under the pseudonym ‘Khaled Khan’ and originally published by the O.T.O in 1938. Designed to be simultaneously a logical progression and step away from the ideas explored on previous full-length ‘Mourner’, the single 14 minute track ‘Unfashioned Realms’ combines desolate widescreen cinematic textures, pulsating black metal and twisted programmed beats, held together by Caïna’s signature eerie ambience."
(NO PICTURE AVAILABLE FOR BLACK HEART EDITION)
Black Heart edition: 1-sided black vinyl, black insert with silver screen print and plastic flap & strap sleeve. Comes with exclusive 21-minute VCD of rehearsal footage. Only 10 copies will be made available for sale - these may ONLY be purchased at the Caïna performance in support of Jesu & Mono @ Bristol Cooler 19/11/07.
Master's Heart edition: 1-sided yellow/gold vinyl with rich brown screen print, maize coloured insert with dark brown screen print and plastic flap & strap sleeve. Available December 10th
Frozen Heart edition: 1-sided ice blue vinyl with silver screen print, celestial blue insert with dark blue screen print and plastic flap & strap jacket. Comes with exclusive 'Heart of the Master' pro-dvdr music video, 38mm pin badge and exclusive t-shirt with front, back and sleeve print. Available to pre-order from Thursday 15th November - ships 15th December. _________________ Cheap and fast deadstock sales on early NWN and others - list updated with plenty of cheap/last copies:

Thanks for the positive comments - a lot of work has gone into this release so i'm glad folks like the layout.
The sound of Caina is very hard to define as it changes/evolves with each release. Relevant metal-type points of reference for this release would be Peste Noire, Alcest, Deathspell Omega etc.
There are some Caina songs here: http://www.myspace.com/cainaband
@ avrlabel: This release may not appeal to those that are metal-purists, but i know there's a lotta guys into NWN! stuff that have varied tastes and may be interested in this release. _________________ Cheap and fast deadstock sales on early NWN and others - list updated with plenty of cheap/last copies:
