Yes! Was there ever any Divine Eve reissues? I think I prefer Crimson Relic because it's more Frost-y. Celtic Frost, that is. All those timpani parts really give me a TMT vibe.

Yeah, I was about to point him in your direction as I've always thought it's a damn shame that you were sitting on copies that long, so it's good to hear that you got rid of the first press run, and this awesome compilation obviously gets the recognition it truly deserves.

EK Nacht, check the trade section, the user Sv. posted a massive sale list a few hours ago, and he also sells the die hard of "Upon These Ashes..." that comes with an addtl. 12" featuring the "Vengeful And Obstinate" recording.

Indeed Crimson Relic released a superb masterpiece. Not re inventing the wheel, just adding some personal spikes to it. Its a good occasional listen when the mood is right.

this damn record STILL needs to be an LP for fucks sake. I know its not going to happen but I personally like this much more than Divine Eve (who are still great!). But all the songs on the CR album are perfectly written to my ears...sure, a bit more low end wouldn't hurt but certainly possible with the right master for LP

after Disciples of Mockery finally made it onto vinyl theres hope yet for this and the Infester album to do the same!

Have this album on CD, great stuff. But I'd prefer Sleavin in that band too and more raw Divine Eve sound.

I also think that the Die Hard version of Divine Eve LP's from Iron Tyrant is among the most sacred jewels of my collection. Love that release so much!

CD repress is right around the corner, mid-April set as release date. Particularly psyched about the announced vinyl release of this classic, been yearning for this for long. Thanks, Matt!

Originally released in 1996 on Radiation Records (a Nuclear Blas label), Purgatory's Reign is a brilliant death/doom album now available on CD format once again.
Used prices of this album can fetch a nice sum and rightfully so. Songs from this album were originally intended for the Divine Eve debut full-length after
Xan Hammack relocated to California from Texas. He enlisted the help of Rhett Davis (Gravehill, Morgion) to complete the lineup on drums.
The output is a pure, underrated classic. A true must-own. Vinyl version will be coming soon via Dark Descent Records. Layout carefully recreated from the original
and the material has been carefully remastered by Ted Tringo at The Ancient Way Mastering.

We are shipping CDs now. Had to get this out before DE's current tour with Impiety and Gravehill.

Vinyl and tape now in the works too.

Brilliant!

Say, do you also plan to do some merch? A simple Crimson Relic logo shirt would be killer.

Great that the vinyl is coming out, and great idea for a shirt!
