THanks for the recommendation, guys. Shall check it out. Next to check out some dark ambient stuff. Kinda like the early Mortiis/Vond stuff.

Thats NOT dark ambient at all. Playing a few notes on a cheap synth isn't ambient at all..

Well, some Dark Ambient I heard is just falling asleep with your head on the keyboard while synth FX do the rest. And early Mortiis is quite advanced, listen to Crypt of a Wizard for example. Wouldn't call it DA either, but I am not sure what else it would be, Neo-Classical New Age/Darkwave maybe?

@ topic: I am still looking for an example of BAD Power Electronics, it would maybe help me understanding the genre better. Because I listen to Genocide Organ and I think it's pretty good & intense, but if I listen to the widely praised Whitehouse I just hear annoying noise that hurts my ears like a tinnitus. Thanks in advance.

Annoying noise is what i hear too LOL...guess this genre is not for me..

If you're going to give this stuff a try stay as far away as possible from black metal side projects and dig into the real, good stuff, by people who know what they're doing.

Lustmord is a good start.

well there is Hekte Zaren, but then i think black metal is a side project to her, not the other way around

Any recommendations for releases from Freak Animal?

The Jason Crumer two album CD comp.
Jaakko Vanhala material
Taint/Mania stuff
Con-Dom stuff

I'd also advise peeping the Industrial Recollections releases, some seriously crucial stuff in there. Noise War comp would be a very good place to start.

I second all of these except the Taint/Mania stuff, but that's because I haven't heard it.

Lot's of great stuff on the Industrial Recollections imprint. I have some Contagious Orgasm and Eric Lunde stuff and last friday I picked up a used copy of Con-Dom Live Assault 1/Live Assault 4 LP and the B-side is one of the most intense PE recordings I've heard.

Definitely, the Macronympha, OVMN, MXM, One Dark Eye, and Black Leather Jesus shits are highly recommended/mandatory as well. The Trait CD (also E Lunde) is really killer too.

Yeah, will need to check out lots of that stuff.

That Cervical Smear song sounded very nice!

I've been working at this project with a friend of mine. Hopefully we'll get to record a real tape before the end of the year. https://fricsvel.bandcamp.com/releases

Finally got my copy and wow the Genocide Organ box is absolutely amazing. Never thought I'd have a copy of SoS on vinyl let alone the other recordings that are included like Klan Country and so on.

It is worth every Cent.
Also very good release is the Kahane Chai 7".
A friend brought me a blue copy from the Tesco Festival and also ordered the White Mailorder Edition. Great release!

Does the mailorder version of that 7" come with an insert? Mine's missing.

Well, I was considering doing the exact same but I felt a bit silly since I had to ask for the missing patch that came with the GO box as well. Laughing

Anyway, yeah, will shoot him an e-mail. Thanks!

I now also got the blue Version, the insert is included.
A friend bought it for me at the Tesco Festival.
Material is very good, it is very much in the early GO style ca. Leichenlinie.
