Apart from me not hearing it and judging by the YT samples of past releases and comments about "triumphant" (more like jolly fun melodies) riffs - the band cries if their releases end up on Internet, the label treats its customers like shit and people are willing to pay 100 euros for a NEW copy that survived.

When is the last time someone paid 100 euros for a new death or doom record?

Yeah. You don't like black metal and you don't like Vothana. Just move on.

@axebix : Like, yesterday, with all these UVSS, livor mortis and many, many others... For example the TYPE O NEGATIVE LP reissues a few months ago.

The label did all things accordingly to what was announced. The only minor point is the seam split but since like a lot of others buyers I intend to keep the record and keep listening to it, where's the problem?

IMHO he is saying another thing.
Guess you really don't understand what people say.
Or you look for anything to put up a fight, and then give the fault to others......

I like Black Metal A LOT and I never heard Vothana because I don't listen to modern bands I need to be a Mossad agent to score a copy, but everything surrounding this band is beyond hilarious since the old fmp666 days.

The guy was probably 15 yo at the time and it's no like FMP was a serious forum by any means. People were more serious talking about guns and trucks than with music.

I didn't mean FMP was serious. It was a cesspool, actually.
I meant the nazi chinese drama of broken Lp's is an old story.

OK, I guess I was a little hard for saying the label treated people like shit. Still, it's unprofessional.

The hype.. Well, I think it's just too artificial. Would this band be really special amongst others in the sea of raw black metal bands if it weren't for marketing tactics? The whole record smashing drama is pathetic and off-putting, to say at least.

UVSS and others, don't get me started! Laughing Can't believe people fall for that stuff, something so worthless and living off aesthetics only. The parallel between emo trap and raw BM isn't there without a reason.

Also, what Acid Orgy said.

Like I said, he probably was 15 yo at the time. I've witnessed some stars and "old and kvlt and okkvlt" bands act childishly too and nowadays people don't care a minute.

Well, quite bad marketing if you don't publicly release anything for 12 years after you've made "a marketing move". Don't be stupid just because you don't like their ideology.

I will agree with you when and if their catalogue will be properly repressed and distributed. He might not be 15 anymore but the "ultralimited and hard to get" crap is still here.
Call me stupid if you wish but be sure I'm not a punk and I don't have any problem with nazis, even when they are yellow.
