Abstract
Starlight Temple Society news for winter 2007 / 2008.
Message
It has been a busy year for us. With the Alioth demo nearly sold out since it's release in February and major aesthetic revisions done to our site, Starlight Temple Society has now several new main objectives to be completed before Spring anno 2008. We have outlined our mission directives below:
Blessed Offal-”Rehearsal 2005”
Demo Cassette 2005/2007
Blessed Offal’s 2005 rehearsal tape finally receives a proper release through STS. Slow, doom ridden death metal that brings to mind Disembowelment, Incantation and Esoteric. One of the harshest, rawest tapes we’ve heard in awhile. Comes with glossy insert on black tape and features over 20 minutes of music- the full original recording + an added bonus rehearsal version of a track that will appear on their debut; Only limited quantities will be available. Available for $5 (not including postage) through STS. If interested in a copy we can accept cash, check, MO and preferably paypal. Contact us here: undergroundexchange@gmail.com

Temple Of Not
Temple Of Not have joined the fold of Starlight Temple Society and will release their long awaited debut CD within the early part of 2008. Featuring members of the supreme black metal band Nightbringer (on FMP), Temple Of Not differ only stylistically- they are an entity of the darkest ambient variety imaginable: cold, lifeless, harsh and non terrestrial soundscapes emerge as a storm of unrelenting terror. More information to come soon. Visit www.starlighttemplesociety.com/templeofnot.html
Sjenovik
Starlight Temple Society is pleased to announce a new partnership with US band Sjenovik. Sjenovik performs an eclectic form of dark music taking heavy influence from old styled death metal and synthesizing elements of droning doom, industrial, ambient and Scandicentric black metal creating layers of atmosphere in a way that is dynamic & completely unique. The debut album is nearly completed and will be released via Starlight Temple Society in the near future. More info to come soon. In the meantime visit: www.starlighttemplesociety.com/sjenovik.html

Alioth
Alioth's KILLER debut demo is nearly sold out at this point and reviews have been mostly very positive. Channeling the essence of Rotting Christ, Acheron & Cemetary Alioth bring atmospheric death metal to the table with heavy & convincing delivery. The second demo "Beneath the swamp" is being recorded at current. Visit: www.starlighttemplesociety.com/alioth.html

Wolfhetan
Starlight Temple Society will be officially distributing this title in the United States. Fans of early Aeternus, Ulver and old styled Bathory will enjoy the heavy, powerful sound of this killer band. Their debut masterpiece "Entruckung" is now available through us again. Visit www.starlighttemplesociety.com/music/wolfhetan.html for more information + mp3 sample.

| I'm glad to hear TEMPLE OF NOT wasn't a one-off project. I thought their half of the split with NIGHTBRINGER was fantastic, but for some reason I wasn't expecting any more material from them. Looking forward to more TEMPLE OF NOT! |

The Blessed Offal tape is available now for $5 (not including postage.
Wholesale prices are as follows (not including postage):
5-9 tapes: $3 per unit
10-19 tapes: $2.25 per unit

I am really looking forward to the Temple Of Not CD myself. If all goes as planned it should be recorded and out before spring of 2008. I expect the layout will be extremely killer too. |
