| 1st two Pantera lps are good power metal..is there nothing else to talk about apart from Pantera What about some of teh bands from the UK I think Salute are fucking great anyone else worth a wank ? For waht its worth Slaughter in the vatican is agreat lp for the time it was out ! |

Yeah, Salute are pretty damned good. Saw them live and couldn't stop headbanging.
Acral Necrosis are alright. Saw them live once. Quite good, but nothing special.
Subvertio Deus are quite good. Best way to describe them is as Orthodox black metal, however that would not really be a fair description, considering that they started before the whole Orthodox BM trend came along and are far superior to most of the trend bands. As well as that, the member of the band dislikes the label of Orthodox BM due to the whole trend thing.
Nefastus are alright, but once again Orthodox BM. Their demo is alright, however the first song on the demo sounds exactly like Ondskapt's "Slave Under His Immortal Will", which is bizarre considering that the members of Nefastus have never listened to Ondskapt. |

Seen Salute twice this year, killer both times and the album is great.
Schadel_reich, Subvertio Deus are good, from what I've heard. I'm mates with Adam, I still need to pick his demo tape up from him! |

I never denied that Subvertio Deus are good. They are definitely a brilliant band. You better get that tape from Adam, as it is brilliant. Meanwhile, I owe Adam a demo as I was supposed to trade him a demo from one band I am affiliated with for his demo. Will give it to him next time I am in Birmingham or next time he comes down to Worcester. |

Pagan Altar are awesome, just ordered the DLP from Miskatonic actually. Saw them in London with The Lamp of Thoth and Warning, what a great night!
Solstice: New Dark Age has a great atmosphere and is packed with epic riffs. Not a fan of Moss at all though, saw them with Esoteric and I recall the same riff being played for the duration of their set. On the other hand, Esoteric are one of the best live bands i've witnessed so far.
