Anybody check out their new release "hail Infernal Darkness"?
It's pretty good death metal and i think the band are underrrated as compared to some of the overly-hyped Myspace so-called DM "...cowboy" bands..

ive only heard a few tracks by this band. what is their best material?
are they related to the band plague bearer that put out a 7" on nuclear winter recently. that was a good e.p. from what i remember put i think i put it away before giving it enough listening time. might have to dig it out again. |

Older albums are good but i think the new one is not too bad, much better production with each instrument getting clarity in the production.
Why don;t you guys like the new one?

They were called plague bearer previously and the 7" ep was called "Rise of The Goat". Don;t know if it's the one on nuclear winter.

"Return of the black death" is a pretty good DM album, from then on ("Hail Infernal Darkness") was much influenced by MORBID ANGEL/IMMOLATION.
Great band though, check out their latest attempt called "Merciless hammer of lucifer"

I still have my tour shirt from 1999 when they played at the Covered Wagon. They were really good that night.
