Could anyone recommend me some good occult literature? I've been looking at Ixaxaar, but I'm not an eccentric billionaire. Is Michael Ford's work any good?

Maybe, you can read some interesting literature from A. Nachttoter aka M.Ford, I recommend:

The Vampire Gate - The vampyre Magickian
Order of the Nine Angels - NAOS - A practical Guide to Modern Magick
The luciferian Path & The Witches Sabbat
The book of the Witch Moon

And from Ixaxaar:

Clavicula Nox Issue IV - Lilith

if you aren't a billionaire or a millionaire and just your average joe then google is your friend. with that i mean that you can find all kinds of books online and don't have to spend money on it when the people that wrote them have been dead for years, decades or centuries.

anyways... if you are looking for the good old god fearing check out montague summers. you could also check out anton long, johannes nefastos (if you understand finnish, which i wish i did after reading his stuff in the zabulus 'zine + clavicula nox), crowley or abdul al hazred (i heard he read a lot!).

the really poor people could always spend some time on the totbl, dr or ona sites.

I wish I understood Finnish. Aside from being a cool language, I think that the work of Pekka Sitoiin sounds pretty interesting.

Michael Ford's books aren't cheap, but they're cheaper than most. They're also not out of print yet. Razz

Can't underestimate the importance of the works of Johannes Nefastos, the most important one for me along with Blavatsky.

I guess she's alwys been debunked more or less, not exactly sure why, perhaps her writing is just too over the top for some, heh... Also the racial ideas that are often misinterpeted as nazism and whatnot. And Isis Unveiled having a lot taken from some other texts without proper references. Don't know. But from the core her teachings - that originate from a lot older, ancient times - have been of great importance for me, then followed by Nefastos, underlining the significance of Satan.

2AM and just got home from a gig, now sleep...

I would easily recommend Qabalah, Qliphoth and Goetic Magic by Thomas Karlsson

Depends what you're interested in for any more specific recommendations

L-Bas by Huysmans is brilliant, one of the best books I've read. But you're being a bit vague with 'Occult literature'. Do you want fiction or nonfiction?
