Many said that this 7"EP 1983 was heavily influenced or had similiar HELLHAMMER sounds. Can anyone prove it to me?
The other crust band I have listened (that had a similar style) was WOLFPACK 'Hellhound Warpig' 7"EP....but never listened to CRUDE SS... |

CRUDE S.S. is classic. I'm a huge fan of old Swedish hardcore... so much great stuff!
Just got the first DOM DÄR 7" in the mail this morning, been looking for that one for ages... Yippeee! |

Uproar released it in 1985. It has the sound of the Satanic Rites demo, and riffs that may have been on unreleased Apocalyptic Raids songs, or were taken from Apocalyptic Raids, hahaha....
However, the vocalist is a bit different, still very heavy for that time and regarding the other Swedish Crsutcore shouters. |

| Actually the one who talked much about this band to me was Frank Necros II from WARHAMMER (ex-member now)... |

The guitar tone is total Hellhammer, that's about the only obvious connection.
Get your head into Anti Cimex while you're at it, the 7"s they put out are killer. |

Of course!
I listen to ANTI-CIMEX early recordings (from 1984 to 1986) on their "Country of Sweden" tape (plus another 7" EP of them) and it's totally heavy, raw and metallic!
I'm not expert on crust/hardcore punk bands mainly becuase I don't like their political lyrics. Other bands I listen are WOLFPACK, FINAL CONFLICT, BROKEN BONES, LETHAL AGGRESSION, SHITLICKERS, AMEBIX, etc...

Anti Cimex raped ass 7" is great. That's about the only thing I like by them though. _________________ The only email I have access to is nwnprod (at) gmail (dot) com. I do not have access to my old Yahoo addresses.

One of the best hardcore punk records ever. So wild!
You metalheads should check out heavier old Swedish bands like Svart Parad, Bombanfall, Agoni (who later became Agony and did a so-so thrash metal album)... they all have proto-death metal overtones and fucking brutal vocals for the time!
Also Shitlickers, Moderat Likvidation, Disarm, Crudity, Avskum, Discard, Mob 47, No Security (who At The Gates covered at some point), Asocial, Totalitär... so much crucial stuff! And that shit got heavier in the 90s with Disfear, Wolfpack, Skitsystem, Dispense, Victims...
One band a lot of death/black metalheads should enjoy is MARTYRDÖD. Their 2nd LP especially is a scorcher. |

that LP in particular blocked my HiFi for months.
Yosuke: you should try and find the Anti-Cimex - Scandinavian Jawbreaker LP/CD. That was their last record and some sort of Motörhead tribute or whatever, but very rude Motörhead tribute at times. Cool record.
Can't recommend Oral enough, formed by Alf Svensson in 1985-86, which recorded a godly MCD in 1994 in Studio Fredman. Swedish Crust with early At The Gates/Grotesque riffs at times. Awesome. |

The Panzerbastard demo was just released on vinyl by Fighting Boy Records. First 100 copies come with Sodom "In the Sign of Evil" rip-off sleeve.

The MCD is a HUGE disappointment compared to the godly 1986 demo! Most songs on the reunion CD were re-recordings of the demo tracks, but all the rawness was lost... Had this band released a record in 1986-87, they would be regarded as legends by many today. Way ahead of their time. |
