They wanted to be on Regain because the label obviously gets shit done, plus two members of Nifelheim have been on Regain for a while now with Necrophobic. Why does Regain suck anyway? Because most of the other bands on the label do? A lot of bands on Necropolis and Black Sun sucked cock too. Most labels have shit bands.

They basically want things under their own control and they want things done on their own terms. They have been fucked by labels too much in the past and for a band that's been worshiped for all these years, they have little to show for it.

I'm pretty sure they can get tour support now being on Regain, and when you have a live show like they do, why the fuck do you want to be limited to just playing in Sweden? Bands that suck cock, great. Limit your releases and stay home. Good bands deserve better.

They can get as "big" as they want, because there is nothing commercial about Nifelheim. It seems people these days can't tell the difference between the two.

As I said, I'm sure they have their reasoning for not going with NWN! Maybe they just want something else, huh? NWN! is certainly not the only label interested in reissuing the first two records.
