I'm listening to this for the first time, and it seems more focused and ritualistic indeed. Really enjoying it. _________________ Great traders/sellers: GoldenBull, Ivan the terrible, OA, LifeDepraved, maranatha, newincident, 61514, Korpinen, NuclearGoatVomit, global deathrape, s. charlach, madcow, xyosefx, goatcaft, Blutkvlt, Ironwood, Unholy Horde, Wolfsturm888, Pinhas |

Downloaded this today (because I'm fucking poor).
Opinion: Holy shit. As soon as I hit play on the first song it struck me how far mito has come since I watched them play a manowar cover in a tiny venue called the 50/50 back in '04 or '05, and also how I knew in my 15 year old head that good things were to come of this band. Mito has never ceased to blow me away with their continuous improvement over the years, which I got to witness through various live gigs.
This album is no exception to that rule, and just as I felt when I was 15...I still get the feeling that the best is yet to come.... _________________

Opened the package containing my copy last Friday. Indeed a masterwork if ever there was one. _________________ The sweetest sweet scent of their fresh let blood

Yes, an amazing CD! (Thanks BNB! -Awesome artwork BTW) This is my belated introduction to Mitochondrion and I now really regret not checking this band out earlier. Just had to add Archaeaeon and the demos to my wantlist but I guess they'd be pretty hard to find now. The split with Gyibaaw rules too. Somebody put their works on DLP please! _________________

i read in an interview they might re-release Archaeaeon, so here's hoping that happens. Parasignosis is really impressive nonetheless.
profound lore never disappoints imo. _________________ But the grain is so fine

| Thanks to my friend, I've got Archaeaeon CD couple of weeks ago. And it is done very professional, both cd and layout ('cause it's self released). Also, I got Parasignosis CD which is also excellent - music is one step forward when compared with Archaeaeon, and layout is fantastic (maybe one of the best I have in my collection). Occult shit, suits the music perfectly. |

One hell of an album. Great to have some bands from Western Canada again awakening and making a stir.
Mind you Western Canada size wise, these lads may as well hail from Europe too.
Still though, having some worthy groups within the region is great, offers the possibility of them playing live here more often rather than the endless stream of typical modern death bands that choke this area and offer the typical boring mindless repetitive shows. |

Apparently, Shawn and Nick had recently congregated for yet another fiendish ensemble of pure audio terrorism and came out with a magnificent 20+ minute epic!
Please enlighten us more about this new progeny of yours Mutilashawn. |
