I love all BOLT THROWER! I'll admit I was a little disappointed with Honour Valour Pride (although it's grown on me), but was absolutely floored when I heard Those Once Loyal. What a fucking great album.

Jo-Anne Bench is my Death Metal queen.

Bolt Thrower kill. No question about it. I actually threw on "Realm of Chaos" today for the first time in ages....shit....the opening riff to "All That Remains' still brings images of a desolate nuclear wasteland with a huge panzer tank rolling over the blackened skeletal remains of humanity's will to conqueror one another. Must I bow down to the almighty riff-fest of "Warmaster" as well?

Anyone got any views on "In Battle There Is No Law". If i recall, that album was more grindcore-ish, in tune with the present trend at that time.

I wouldn't say grindcore-ish, but some UK-Crust influences, especially by Sacrilege (Uk) and their Behidn The Realms Of Madness LP. However, I absolutely dig this record as well. Some of the best UK-Crust ever, with already a good dose of Death Metal.

I'm looking for the Peel Session LP with the band photo on the front cover. Email me if you have one for trade.

I have both Peel Session LPs, but none has a bandphoto on the frontcover. Only the 2nd Peel Session LP (with all recorded sessions 1988-1990) has a huge bandphoto on the back. The first Peel Session LP has that typical bandname cover.

Bolt Thrower...For Victory...the definition of death crushing war metal...like a tank running on skulls...fantastic band of a bunch of "punk/hardcore and metal hippies" as they once said in an interview...a must see before you die band...

I need to pick up For Victory and buy some more Bolt Thrower CD's. I only have Honour Valour Pride and it's been in constant playing.
