| I'm a huge fan...I wish someone would repress some of the earlier stuff in deluxe vinyl packages...it's hard to track the early releases down, and if you can many times they are in deplorable condition... |

Totally agree! Utterly brilliant music, but unfortunately, there's so many elusive releases -especially from the 80s- that are very hard to come by. Someone should really take care of re-releasing some PC! My personal favourite is still "Alkahest", especially the ones with the maestro's voice, as I think some of the songs (which are brilliant musically as well...) sung by Lee Dorian sound a little...odd!? _________________ "Slit my eyes, for they'll remember..." |

I think his stuff is very good until the "Life And Death" LP. That one pretty much sucks, and from then on his stuff is very uneven.
Detaching From Satan is his best, absolutely. |

| The next issue of Pariah Child I think might include a Paul Chain interview, anyway. Looks like he's planning on it/ |

| He used to be a member of Death SS who sort of went solo and does kind of horror doom metal. Does that help? |

| I have listened to Life And Death several times and I still think it sucks. I wish I like it, but I don't. |

| Yeah, I'm a big DEATH SS fan, but the early Paul Chain material is amazing. I love how the lyrics are just made up... yet he still somewhat has his italian accent! |

I don't think his lyrics are "made up" but he sings phoenetically which doesn't really incorporate actual words as we know them.Basically just sounds although in some of his songs I can definently hear some actual words I can understand.I really like Alkahest and his older doom material as opposed to his experimental stuff. |
