Seriously how great is this band? I imagine there are many fans on here.

Recieved the Cult Of Destruction LP and the Morbosidad split CD yesterday. I already own Demon Metal and had COD on my computer, but man NWN! vinyl is really nice. Thanks again Yosuke.

Throughly enjoy Perveror. Some of the best blackened death/thrash of the last few years i think. All the material thus far is great. Really dig the thrashing old school songs they mix with a more modern, dark, evil vibe. My only minor complaint would be that i wish they had slightly cleaner production. Guys churn out some awesome riffs and a bit more clarity wouldn't hurt. Can't wait to hear what these guys do next. Cheers.

Totally agree! "Cult of Destruction" is my favorite release on NWN from a contemporary band, hands down, and considering the quality of the label that's saying something. Totally catchy but violent and evil at the same time. Can't wait to hear what they come up with next.

Naw man, the fact that the reverb-soaked haze has been a mainstay throughout their material thus far shows that it's the band's intention for their albums to sound like a drunken nightmare. I personally love this sort of production and I think Demon Metal got it the best. Victory of the Legions of the Damned!

I just need to pick up the split on reg and die hard wax (I managed to score white copies from Knernet) and I'll have the lot of their material. Total support!

It would be great for them to appear in the USA next year definitely.

Great band! It's a pleasure to hear a South American band that still sounds South American and not European in 2010!

Yes drunken haze production does seem to be their intention.

I'd appreciate links to any merch, album reviews, or interviews if there is any around. Cheers.

Knernet is writing a piece for Black Metal Revolution: http://www.blackmetalrevolution.com/ but I am yet to see it. He is however on my list of people to hassle at least once more about it ha ha

Great band, I'm always suprised that their records don't fly off the shelf faster than they do.

Killer band. Almost underrated, so to speak

"Demon Metal" is just awesome, their best material

a lil disappointed in their split with Morbosidad (whose side is great IMO)

Maybe my favorite South American band, at the moment. Though, I do think that the Morbosidad side of the split is a little bit better. That is probably my least favorite output by Perversor thus far.

I'm thinking that too, bit too reverby. The songs are still good though. Have only played the split in my car so maybe it sounds better on my home system.

Demon Metal was my first exposure to the band. It blew me away..... I then bought the debut LP and it didn't do as much for me, but I still like it. Split material with Morbosidad blew me away once again...fucking love it !

Their entire aesthetic is awesome too...love that logo and sick demon drawings..... especially the cover of the Demon Metal mlp.

Cult of Destruction is the best thing they've done so far. The other stuff is too speedy and not as catchy as CoD. I hope they go back to their original thrashy Demoncy meets Inquisition sound of their debut.

Agreed love the fucking cryptic vocal style never thought to compare it to demoncy but i see what you mean. I thought demon metal was great too and the few tracks i heard from the new split are still awesome.

I agree as well. Cult of Destruction is definitely my favorite work by them. Demon Metal managed to retain most of what I liked about Cult, while adding some speed and extra aggression. Their split material is good, but it is almost too much.
