Anyone into this great Mexican horde? Also features members of Bloodreaping and ex-Impiety..
Loved their early albums. The new one, Katun uses Aztec language for its lyrics i think.. Music wise, its pretty intense although sound does feel muddy. Nonetheless, a blower of a record.
Comments, anyone? _________________ Looking for DEATH METAL bands!

Unfortunately I havn't given HACAVITZ much of a listen... isn't Antimo in that band? That guy seems to be in a never ending lineup of killer bands hah...
Mexico has indeed produced some HIGH QUALITY and AUTHENTIC Death Metal. I reccomend NECROCCULTUS and INFINITUM OBSCURE if you're into that style of Dark and savage Death Metal with a blatant old school atmosphere/mentality.
Mexico also is home to THE CHASM, the best Death Metal band I've ever heard. |

Ex Inferis is the best band right now from Mexico. No other bands can compare to their South American black death worship.
Infinitum Obscure is supposed to record a new demo for me soon. _________________ Your opinion is as insignificant as your existence.

I don't think they're signed to any label. I was talking to them about doing a 7" in the future. They currently have only one demo out. _________________ Your opinion is as insignificant as your existence.

Sargatanas and Necroccultus both kick ass. I need to check out the other bands you mentioned. |

| There are no myspace or mp3s or samples of EX INFERIIS as they have chosen NOT to use these methods to spread their deadly art. If you want to hear them you're gonna have to do it the way it was done in the ancient day, order their cassette demo from them. They do have a second demo coming out soon which is just as good as the first. |

| Venganza was enjoyable but just didn't match the excellence of Ravager's Naxzgul Rising album which remains my favorite collaboration between those two guys, Antimo and Oscar. Venganza just went in one ear and out the other even though it seemed great while it was on. I think Katun stepped it up quite a bit and has been in my stereo pretty consistently since being released this year. |

Personally i enjoyed both Venganza and Nazgul Rising. Demonized was pretty good as well. However, Katun was a bit of a slow grower on me, perhaps because of the muddiness of the production causing it to lose some intensity. Still enjoy playing it though. _________________ Looking for DEATH METAL bands!
