Some suggestions in this thread have already been discussed/confirmed. I won't say who but there shouldn't be much disappointed from people with the diversity I have lined up. More news by March. Just thought I'll let a few bands out since the line up is gonna be huge.

While we're naming bands, I'd love to see these:

Ares Kingdom
Mitochondrion
Gyibaaw
Adversarial
Sanguis Imperem
Witchrist
Vassafor
Helcaraxe
West Wall

Additions like these would be amazing, and luckily I don't think too many will be out of the question!!

Last year was great and hopefully I can make it out to this year's as well.

Like someone else mentioned, I'd love to see Manticore play again, but with another drummer that actually knows how to play the songs!

Yeah, that was fukking retarded. They were telling me they kicked him out before they even made the drive home.

If there is real interest in having Helcaraxë play, one of the show promoters should get in touch and I will see if we can do it!

I support this idea...I even saw a few Helcaraxe shirts at the fest.

Nice to know that the line-up will be a bit more 'diverse' this year. Definitely stoked on hearing what the rest will be.

If you're in a band playing this show, you should probably ask for your guarantee up front, otherwise you may end up getting stiffed like some of the bands did last year. Oh yeah, and make sure that he gives you all of your travel arrangement details, so you know if you're going to have to drive several hours to your airport, or sleep in a terminal for a day or two. Great bands, but this is a poorly run fest, and then all the blame for the mismanagement gets dumped onto someone who had no affiliation with the promotion or organization of this fest.

I think it's in bad taste to bring something like this up on an internet forum. Rather than talking shit and spreading rumors, let the bands and promoter deal with these things in a personal manner.

I admit, you have a point there. I'm simply warning the bands of what might happen if they book with this guy. I'm not talking shit, nor am i spreading "rumors" these are things that are FACTS, and i'm just bringing them to light.

He's absolutely right though. He is stating facts. Several bands were paid a very small fraction of what they were promised. One band had to take a cab to the airport in Austin (over an hour away), and paid over $100 out of their own pocket to get there, simply because the guy behind the fest would not answer his phone, and was nowhere to be found. Blasphemophagher had to spend three days in the Atlanta airport, due to poor booking.

There is no rumor spreading here. These are all statements of fact, and I'd challenge anyone to write the bands (Impiety, Surrender of Divinity, Diocletian, and Blasphemophagher) personally, and see if they say anything different.

This fest is cool. A lot of cool bands come from all over the world to play this festival, and from a fan's perspective, it's awesome! All Swordmaster said was that bands would find it in their best interested to get their money in advance, and to get as many details as they possibly can about their travel arrangements...and he's absolutely right.

Well maybe instead "challenging" facts, you could help out with the fest. I'm not a promoter but i imagine it's not easy to set up something like this, ecspecially on your own. I'm not disputing either side of this, i just think it's easier to criticize than to actually help out it seems. The "fact" is if more people would've shown up to this thing , we probably would'nt be talking about this .
