Blood Lust was sheer perfection after that, they got too beatles for me. That being said I am interested in Vol One.

I prefer that about them, just revisited Mind Control and The Night Creeper a couple of days ago.

They're great live for sure, although can I say too heavy (this must be the first time! Very Happy)? It's just that I think a full-on psych/garage sound would suit them better.

Blood Lust was ace! The rest is good, but they didn't grab me like Blood Lust. I never heard Vol 1, but I'm very curious.

Blood Lust is fantastic and going to get Vol 1 too. Sold Mind Control, didn't care that at all. They're great live band!

I still listen to blood lust and vol 1. Both great albums.
The night creeper really let me down...
Good to see vol 1 is getting the vinyl treatment it deserves. Hopefully it won't be remixed too much.

Finally! Will buy for sure.
"Bloodlust" is one of the best lps of the decade. But as many have said, they have not matched it since.

Blood Lust is the best but Mind Control has more killer songs than it does not. First two sides of the record are great, the second disc not so much but I do like the closing track a lot, Devil's Work. Good outlaw biker gang/Manson vibe as well compared to the britishness of Blood Lust. Didn't like The Night Creeper, they started to repeat themselves which wouldn't be that bad if they kept the evil edge they had before and they did not, at least in my opinion.

I thought The Night Creeper was bad, but changeb my mind after the third listen. It is a solid album, just need to be in the mood for it.
Of course, Blood Lust is the winner, but still...

Same here. Didn't really care for anything after Blood Lust, but I'll definitely pick up a copy of Vol. 1. Already looking forward to the inevitable Rise Above refresh-o-rama circus and the ten thousand 'strictly limited' varieties Laughing

Kozmik Artifactz has Vol.1 up now for pre-order, it's not even on the Rise Above site yet!

"I remember when.." Blood Lust was reissued on a number of formats, among which was a version on clear vinyl limited to 100 copies. Obviously the website crashed three seconds after the pre-order went live, but by genuine mistake and due to unforeseen server errors they ended up selling a lot more pre-orders of the aforementioned edition than the initial 100 copies. So guess what, they ended up pressing an even more limited edition on golden wax by means of compensation.

Seriously wouldn't put it past Lee to have somehow orchestrated the whole 'accidental overselling of copies' scenarion, because the clear variety was 12 or so GBP more expensive than the other varieties. Laughing
