This is all severe internet-retarded hype:
Ghost and Uncle Acid are both overrated (though quite good and enjoyable) seeking hype and kvlt status (they were chosen by/chose the suitable label for that too...) while DEVIL who are as good if not BETTER are kinda diregarded JUST because they are honest, no bullshit and on un-hype labels like Iron Bonehead and Soulseller, both great dedicated non-profit labels.
Go figure...
Almost all DEVIL material is still available. Because it wasnt purposely limited. _________________ DISJECTA MEMBRAE plays Vomitive Doom

I really like Devil, more than Ghost.
"Time To Repent" black vinyl is sold out, only yellow is available. |

The value isn't the same ... you'll need a Deathcrush on Posercorpse or first press Burzum to get this.
Or just hope like me they'll rerelease it. _________________

They will, maybe. But I've heard that vinyl sucked - bad sound.
The CD is excellent. |

The vinyl reissue is coming very soon. And I 'm sure after this reissue another one is gonna come...
The band is great no need to blame them for others stupidity. |

Can't believe the amount of this utter bullshit being spewed. On Uncle Acid at least. They just got picked up by the "wrong" label... _________________ ok but who are you damn i have lot of orders

I believe the band decides on the limitation? Or is Rise Above a tyrannical label forcing generous bands to limit their releases? If their LP sold out in no time, then they should (and apparently will) repress it. That's fine if they do.
Next time press more, that's all. _________________ DISJECTA MEMBRAE plays Vomitive Doom

+1
but the "other's stupidity" is making it a real pain in the ass to get a copy on vinyl. _________________ Scepter Of Eligos - Sludge/Thrash

Good day, monsieur!
First of all, thanks for the kind words on Devil. I'm glad we're considered honest, after all, starting to get old, it's too late to pretend, and considerably more difficult to remember the fake, haha!
On a serious note, to shed some light on how we did the releases with Soulseller; We found out approximately how much we could possibly sell, and printed thereafter. Therefore there are still some cds available, although not TOO many. As for the black vinyl, we underestimated the demand, and only made 500. If we'd thought we'd sell 1000, we'd printed 1000. So when it was sold out, we made a new batch immediately, but in order to keep the first 500 buyers able to prove their first print and initial support, we changed to yellow vinyl. If we should do a repress on the CD, it would probably be identical if possible, cause we don't consider the CDs to be as much of a collectors item. |
