apparently their new album is out; just listening to some of the tracks, sounds really really good

I like how they continue to mix the whole culty ritual sound with straight up metal, headbanging sacrificial bliss

I've said it before and I will say it again for US maniacs:
Luxcaelis and Hetroertzen are both absolutely KILLER livebands. If you like the music, don't miss out to see them live!

Thanks for posting!

Really loved this bands "Slaughtering of the Lamb" demo, even more so than their debut, so I've been looking forward to this new album. While the title track is pretty good, the other two tracks I've heard are just re-recorded versions of songs from said demo, so I still really want to hear the album in full before I get my hopes up too much but I'm sure it will rule. Definitely a fan of what they're trying to do in terms of blending a serious, modern occult approach with old school heavy metal/punk sound.

I've only heard the debut album, but it blows me away every time I listen to it. I don't know if I can wait for the LP to arrive before listening to the new album.

The New York date has easily been my most anticipated concert all summer.

I still can't believe no local promoters stepped up to re-book the September 11th show. I have a hunch that some serious regret will set in once these bands gain more acclaim. Oh well. We get the shows we deserve. Rolling Eyes

Killer songwriting, great sound... this band is something else. I've got some vinyl copies incoming to the US!

Yeah, Saint Vitus has a great atmosphere. You won't be able to make it down for New York?

You can check out the thread on Return to the Pit for some info on why the show got cancelled.

I'm in Florida so it's a whole different story.
