necros cristos make good intros, in fact more interesting than the actual music imo. every in/outro taken from movies or classic/opera = sucks. one or two are ok but that's just too much

The techno outro and all of the vocoder clean vocals in the song of the band in your sig.

the crying girl sample on Shining's "Laat Oss Ta Allt Fraan Darandra" off of V:Halmstad. Shining samples pretty much always suck, but that one was particularly idiotic

I instantly thought of that shitty outro on INRI, I've always fucking hated it. It's just so lame and completely at odds with the album's overall vibe.

Another bad one to me is Last Rose Of Summer on Sin After Sin, totally brings the heavy ass flow of the album to a screeching halt to me. Even though skipping a track on records is a pain in the ass, I still have to do it here.

Vol. 4 is a pretty bad offender for this kind of thing on my list. Half brilliance, half crap.

The spoken interludes on Resurrection's "Embalmed Existence". They were kind of funny on the first listen, but wore out their welcome pretty fast.

That should be the consequence for making a comment like that.

Old Wainds - scalding coldness

Reaally good album, fucking great. But there's an electronica track in the MIDDLE of the album!! Almost totally kills the flow if you dont skip past it. Bad creative descision, don't yall agree?

The MOST annoying thing:
If you listen to a CD, and there is a 2 second break between songs that go into each other. Perfect on the LP (there isn't such a effect), disastrous on the CD. Kills intro->first song, kills live records, kills any record aaarghhhhhh. Why do shitheaded record label owners listen to their stuff at least once before they sell their CD ?

I know what you're talking about, but I think that is a problem of some CD players. CDs can be tracked so the track advances seamlessly into the next song, but some CD players are retarded and automatically add a gap between tracks. For example my home CD player with play properly from an intro into the first song and my car CD player will put a gap in on the same CD.

I never heard of cd-players inserting this silence, it's usually retarded mastering! I actually have lps who have silence in between songs which are supposed to be merged together.

this is what is called "gapless playback" and can be affected by the particular device your using. for instance, the microsoft zune did not feature gapless playback for a long time and would thus make a gap between tracks. also, the cd players in many ford vehicles do this same thing. so it could be bad mastering in some cases but I am willing to bet the majority is in regards to the player itself.

Yeah, this. Fucking terrible idea.

Also, not a 'demo or record' but whatever the fuck effect Sylvain Houde uses on his vocal track at 5:08 on "Mould in a Breed"... it sounds like a midget pterodactyl having an orgasm in the 6th dimension of the Mushroom Kingdom. I like his vocals but that shit's just goofy.
