I've just seen this one and I hope I'm not too late on the news. I'm curious because it seems more than putting the band's logo on an usual crap beer like Heineken. Or am I wrong?
I've read it was announced in March but it's now out.

Their twitter account is always talking about it. I'd buy it if I could find it locally but I'm not ordering a beer from England just because it's got an Iron Maiden theme.... _________________ http://www.last.fm/user/ngadke |

25.50£ shipping for an eight bottle case is more than the cost of the case itself. You have a point. _________________ Scrutare et vide quia propheta a Galilaea non surgit! |

I really wouldn't expect the beer to be worth the expense of shipping within the UK, never mind internationally. I could be proven wrong, but the fact that it's brewed by Robinsons doesn't give me much hope. I've tried a few of their ales and they were all either mediocre or shite. _________________

It's no different than all the band wines popping up lately. Motorhead was one of the first to come out with their own:
And their own wine glasses as well.
Then other bands started following. It's all about selling merchandise and making money. I don't know how many bands are out there with their own wine but I have seen quite a few. Latest one was Greatful Dead from http://www.winesthatrock.com/
It's most likely same wine with different logo on it. You can pay $18 or $23 for the wine plus shipping or go to the liquor store and get the same bottle for $8.99. _________________

Of course it's all about merchandising but I had hopes it can be a decent or good beer since they worked with a regional brewery. It looks it isn't he case.
About wine, for 20$/€ you can find a very good wine here in France for this price and I have no doubt it's the same case in any wine-producing country, USA included. The IRON MAIDEN beer isn't more expensive than anything that's not a generic brand here. You won't find craft beer at less than 4€ a 75cL bottle here, even when buying a pack at the brewery itself. _________________ Scrutare et vide quia propheta a Galilaea non surgit! |

| The booze could go along good with the GHOST dildo box set. Loosen up a tight ass for easier penetrations. |

I wonder if any South American fans are gonna hold their bottle close and weep while looking to the sky.
I find this sort of thing really corny and lame. Beer in general sucks, so I definitely don't expect much from Iron Maiden beer. |
