First time on vinyl, limited to 500 copies as the cd version.
Worth getting? I never heard that one so far because I heard anything from Hate is not so top notch + with drumcomputer etc.
Guess I would buy it anyway because it's Sarcofago.

It's with a drumcomputer as well, but it has a VERY heavy sound, very fast & extreme...I like it !

It's a very short EP with drum machine. It actually sounds more industrial than metal. Riffs are pretty good but the entire thing feels very half baked due to the drum machine.

I don't see the reason to purchase this on ANY format...this just seems to be leftovers of the HATE album...the vocals suck to a disgusting level!

Halfway unreadable lyrics in the booklet, something like "painting their faces with cum" (Fuck Off Melodic Black Metal) and barly audible when listening to the song. But cool stuff. Their best stuff since the debut for me due to the complete madness.
[EDIT: aargh...songtitle is Melodic Black Metal, not Modern Black Metal]

no, BELIEVE ME ! The Worst is actually the worst ! Crust is their best "drumcomputer" release. Even "Hate" isn't as good.

| I actually pulled my "Crust" mcd out this weekend. It's probably the best and most powerful drum machine (doing fast beats anyway) that I've heard on a recording, next to grindcore stuff like ENEMY SOIL. In fact, it pretty much sounds like good 90's drum machine grindcore. Really short but enjoyable. I'd buy the 12" if I wasn't saving up. |

"The Worst" is so sucky that I really never play it whereas "Hate" has its moments for sure.

Speaking of SarcóI_LOVE_PENIS, did they play that festival in Chile with Possessed or not? What was up with that?
I hardly even remember what "Crust" sounded like, so that could be indication that I thought it was shit. I remember "Hate" and "The Worst" being pretty terrible. I need a refresher course of everything after "The Laws of Scourge".
I happen to like the two records after INRI quite a bit. |
