Been listening to The Most Ancient Ones on last two weeks a lot. I had no proper recollections how it sounded. And it sounded a lot better! Great album. Extremely monolithic and I can just imagine the negativity towards this album...

I still prefer the BoK debut over the other albums. Sun in... is brutal and intense indeed, but it has no staying power for me. The new one I should give another chance.

I'm with you two on this one. the debut is one of the rare examples of a really unique black metal record, but feel free to point me to anything comparable in terms of atmosphere.

A lot of the songs on the first one sound like early Drudkh songs sped up and with blastbeats Razz
