Thats shitty. Did this guy not expect ever to pay tax or something or never get pinched in some inspection ?
Fuck, this shit is to be expected. Should be counted on as standard practice actually.
By adding an extra $ or whatever to his price tag of the merch he should have come up as even as any metal merchant could expect to selling this swag.
Fuck, the more of this thread I read the more adamant I am about strictly dealing with only the few reliable dealers I have before and that are part of this forum community. Fuck all the others. |

Here's the story.
So, I've spent the last hour on the phone with the Ebay "representatives". Apparently a buyer was not happy that I did not reply to his ebay message he sent the day prior to an item that wasn't even listed on ebay. He wanted a Large Death Strike shirt which isn't even available in the shop anymore.
He "bid" on 12 of my CD dutch auctions totaling 5,700 dollars in "winnings" and then left negative feedback for each in a very profane manner.
I immediately called ebay and got their reps in the Philippines. I talked to their Trust & Safety Dept. and had a conversation that last 30 minutes and almost made me bang my head against the wall. It was a frustrating experience to say the least. I have had two Ebay accounts since 1997. This one for the label and another one which is still active that has had zero problems in 15 years. I explained to the Trust & Safety Dept. that ebay has done TONS over the years to protect buyers but very little to protect sellers and it gets progressively worse. This is why I rarely use ebay. She wasn't even sure he'd be banned even though this was an obvious case of one of the biggest dickbags I've ever seen.
To finalize this, I have to invoice him, wait four days and then file an unpaid item report. Apparently all the final auction fees and the listing fees will be refunded to me but billing closes out in five days...yeah. Then I have to call them back to remove the feedback, which is so blatantly obvious and should be removed immediately (he posted it minutes after ending my auction).
MY suggestion to all of those out there is to block the bidder "thrashcat" if you have an account. He is from Belgium. Apparently he wanted a t-shirt real bad. I will also notify Mr. Speckmann not to sell one to him as he's a total bitch and is not deserving of adorning a fine Death Strike shirt.

When they remove the bad feedback they don't actually remove it all they do is replace the message with "feedback removed by ebay" the bad feedback mark still stays on your account your percentage rating will still be affected and in the table were you have the list of Good, bad and neutral the bad feedbacks will still be listed.
The policies towards sellers will only get worse until something comes along to replace paypal and Ebay which I can't see every happening because both companies have gotten so big. I hate ringing them all the representatives are brain dead cunts who always keep repeating the same rules over and over again. it's also getting near impossible to contact them they seem to have removed the chat option for the UK. |

Damn. In the past, once an unpaid item claim was approved all feedback from the buyer was automatically removed/blocked. This is a ridiculous shitty situation, fukk that guy.

Just so you all know, I did send this gentleman his tapes but they never arrived to him unfortunally. A full refund was issued for the lost tapes.
