The funny thing is, I love that demo... yet still somehow they seem a bit overrated. Laughing

I wish they'd ever gotten around to recording an album.

I know its not an album but the Studio demo is pretty fucking awesome. Necrovore were definitely a head of their time in the USA and anyone who thinks they are overrated, most likely does so because they don't compare speed wise with 87/89 Morbid Angel but if you listen closely enough they have everything that is needed to be a great underground, occult metal band. Love it or leave it, it will forever live on through the annals of time. However I do believe that it would have been awesome if they had eventually at the very least studio recorded Treacherous Abominations & Chaotic Malevolence.

Huge interview, that explains alot
http://www.voicesfromthedarkside.de/Interviews/NECROVORE--7002.html

i have another one in an issue of bestial assault but i have to dig it out and scan it. Seem to remember something about them destroying another recording that they had done.

I have an old copy of this demo, one of the first demos I ever bought, thougg considering I bought it in 1990 not sure if it's original and to be honest that doesn't bother me. Just wondering, when people talk about the studio demo, is there more than one version of their demo? sound on mine is good and all but just for clarity. Shame the band never did a full lenght, it'd have been something ultra fucking special, Altars of Madness wouldn't have had the same impact.
