Depends how fresh and lighting I suppose.

A little air should start congealing it pretty quickly making lumps and what not and darker red too perhaps I suppose.

Cannot imagine really enjoying its taste even for the photo opportunity.

I'd love to see a video of Maxime Tacardi filling up bottles of his own blood for all of those paintings.

A nurse friend with a syringe perhaps? Probably collected in a method that is not all stitches and scarring but I don't know... but that's my guess.

a good way to get blood is approach a butcher and say you require it for a university study, it worked for Psycho Surgeons (Murder Punk band) who smeared every one of their singles in blood...
