Thanks to the drum machine thread for bringing this band up again.

Personally, I hated the drum machine. But it was part of the weird charm of everything this UK hermit recorded. Cold, repetitive 'leave me the fuck alone' BM with distant vocals. Great stuff.

I remember some guy from brazil who wrote the lyrics to the "As the last star..." song sent me an instrumental mp3 of this song before the album release. But I lost track of this band and missed the album. Unfortunately all I ever got were bad quality mp3s.

What happened to the Darkness guy? Is he active in some other band? Is there any chance to a physical copy of the releases or at least a good rip?

Great stuff. "VII" is my favourite. Drum machine really adds to the inhuman vibe IMO.

One of the best from the UK underground. You won't find any CD-rs out there; long gone, even the reissue of 'Last Star Falls...' would be tough to track down now. There were a few good quality downloads online around 5-7 years ago, which I took advantage of given that I couldn't track down any of the original demos to buy besides the mentioned reissue.

My CDr doesn't work anymore... Just like most CDr titles from that time with a sticker on them. Worst invention ever.

I wouldn't usually encourage this but for reasons I explained above here is a page with a download link. No idea if it works...

Thanks a lot! That link does work.

Seems like Caranthir just disappeared ("from the scene"). A pity. He had a knack for great riffs.

UK had a few noteworthy underground bands with some potential at that time. Liked Ichneutic as well. Crossed the official homepage a few days ago by accident ( http://s279792947.websitehome.co.uk/ichneutic/ ) and it seems like absolutely nothing changed since the first tapes on Black Abyss Productions. Hateful and primitive as always. Thumbs up!

No problem. Thanks for the Ichneutic page link, I don't have half of those tracks. Again, virtually impossible to find the original demos to buy.
