Acid Bath. Best Sludge band ever. The song Dope Fiend is their best. The lyric where it goes "Yeah motherfucker i'm high and i'm thankful just to be alive" is epic. I love singing along to that part.

EYEHATEGOD and FULL BLOWN A.I.D.S. are without peers. The FBA material is harder to find now except for the "Viral Load" Cd that I released last year. That cd is a great introduction to the band as it contains their live material/recordings that are just as good as the studio tracks also on the cd, and nearly indistinguishable in sound and quality. HELLS HEADBANGERS still has the Cd in stock and LIMITED APPEAL still has copies of the double vinyl of "Viral Load" as well as the 12" Ep of "Leech".

check the "clone: play slow, die fast" 12"-vinyl-series (vol. I-IV) from blind date records where half of the bands mentioned in this thread pay tribute to older metal/punk/alternative/HC-bands by playing cover songs. amazing shit for the most part.

Fleshpress fucking rules. III and Pillars are certainly my personal picks. Still haven't checked out the recent EPs.
I'll add Cattlepress as well, the comp track with Craig Pillard on vocals is one of the ugliest songs ever. Split LP with AG and the Crowskin EP are excellent as well, way more warped than your average sludge band.
