The old Forgotten Woods-material is mandatory, pure excellence.

Yes. THIS.

ATWG was where I started into black metal at age 13. The combination of obscure black & white cover artwork with that blood chilling ancient music was profoundly influential to me as a lad, and still is today.

I love all of Forgotten Woods albums but this one in question is my favorite. It was a real honor for me to be able to interview a band who I've so worshiped for over 16 years for the last issue of GoTG.

If the answer is NO, then Fallen Empire would likely be up to the task.

This sounds interesting - one of the few promising re-releases in the thick fog of needless re-released albums...

curse of mankind is a favorite. between this album and the first joyless album, this material is a far more appealing use of 60s 70s rock than much of the cut'n'paste appeal of recent revival acts. maybe i'm wrong but this band's progression into guitar pop/rock seemed more the result of a musical progression and less a stylistic trade-off.

anyone know if 'unlimited hate' will find itself reissued in the relatively near future?
