Rammer are an awesome band that I'm sure people will still be talking about 10 or 15 years from now. Living in Montreal, I was lucky enough to see them play twice live and it was a blast!
I'm even more pissed off now that I didn't get to see them just one more time opening for 3 inches of blood... |

being a new listener to them, and having some talks with dave rammer, it is a shame i think. i have only heard 2 songs which were killer to say the least!
i am sure things will turn into better and more solid lineups. did two of them join toxic holocaust after this split? |

| well, i hope it makes sense to them since toxic always were a one-man-band. i hope their move will benefit them in all ways. hm...it all sounds abit weird to me. |

| I learned about it this weekend, and I'm really saddened and shocked about it... they've been around for a long time, and man, they were one of the best we had to offer nowadays. I hope Al and Phil made the right desicion with TH and everything goes well, but I am still under shock!! Argh! |

Hah, I never expected to see this discussion here...
Yes, Rammer is done as of the end of March. It's a serious bummer for me as I've invested 9+ years of my life into the beast. The statement I wrote there sums everything up succinctly.
It's funny... being a band that was never able to tour much outside of Canada (read: almost not at all) I never realized how many people around actually really appreciated the band. Now that we're busting up people have been writing in from all over. It's a real shame.
Yes, our drummer and bassist are moving to join TH full time. I'm pretty excited for them. It's a great opportunity to for them to do what they really want to, which is tour.
Anyways. I will keep this board updated of our releases as they filter out. There is a very very high probability of a small press of unreleased stuff on a 10" most likely. |

Sorry to hear this... will you come to Montreal one last time? I was away when you played that show at the Juste Pour Rires on the 18th of Feb...
At least Al and Phil will be happy about the touring part... but damn it!!! Argh! |

We never played. 3 Inches cancelled the whole tour. Ahem.
This weekend is the last time. Come to Toronto!
Joel and I are starting a new band together ASAP. Just wait. |

Really? Well, I feel less bad now. My buddy Emma had told me about the show! I wonder how it would have went...
I can't come to Toronto this weekend, the finances are just not there... but I'll be there in spirit. I'll have a few for you!
Killer for the band with Joel though, I am very curious to see what it will end up being like. Please let me know when you have a demo!! |

Ramsay recorded an album of his solo project Apocalyptic Warrior that will get released soon I bet. It's fucking awesome, haha.
Joel and I are starting something along the lines of Master/Discharge/Repulsion/Autopsy/No Security type stuff... much more straight ahead.
Cauldron are playing regularily. The original Goat Horn drummer is filling in, and they are auditioning a permanent drummer this week, actually. |
