I really dont like Unisound. Due to the total lack of quality (not the music, but the cheap booklets, masterings and such). |

I totally agree about Southern Lord and Hydrahead, they have to be the gayest labels in metal. Admittedly SL used to release good stuff (as someone else pointed out), but nowadays only release hipster shite. Usually only with Steven O'Malley playing on them...
What is so bad about Xtreem Music? I know they have released some pretty gay things, but there's also cool stuff such as the re-release of the Demigod album (though they could have left the original artwork intact!)
Another totally gay label is FETO records... |

I hate all labels which don´t trade with the usual "I need to get money back for the next releases" excuse ! |

Earache might have released some of my favorite, life-defining albums around 348573986746895 years ago, but they get a hate vote from me now for being so clueless especially with regard to this roster of cajone-less, virginal, dork-propelled "new wave of thrash" they are cultivating.
Get a fucking clue. |

No Colours had some fairly good stuff esp. like Dimmu Borgir, Graveland, Falkenbach, Iuvenes...but all turned to shit nowadays. I never ordered directly there but what I heard from their form of packaging was ridiculous. The gayest gimmick was the Nargaroth boxset. I must admit that I like the early stuff but the cumencrusted shirt and bird-pieces are pretty weirdo
I was never convinced to buy at Christhunt Prod. Pretty weak stuff in the catalogue |

Care to explain why ? | Perhaps "naive" wasn't the right word, but I think that if we're talking about low key labels that put out releases sporadically and wish to keep a low profile then that stand is understandable. |
yeah, lets release the same record 4 times, each with one more bonus track.
and 13 different colors of vinyl is always neccesary. oh yeah and a picture disc version later, just so we can get all the money out. ggaaaaaayyyyyyy.
This sounds like something Glenn Danzig has been doing for years with the Misfits,Samhain and Danzig. |
