Tried to buy a presale ticket via the deathkult.de site, but the page you fill in is all aus deutsch, und mein deutsch ist night so gut. Sent a message (i think) through the 'contact' button. Hopefully this works. E40 a fuckin great price for a three day fest with the quality of line up so far.....
Leipzig or Altenburg is a pain in the arse to fly to for me from UK. I guess its Berlin and train down.... |

Not a bad price indeed! I came last year with some friends by flying to Berlin and taking trains first to Leipzig on Thursday and on Friday from Leipzig to *whatever the festival town was*. It worked out great using only the cheapest trains, although it took quite a long time.
We saw a lot of cops when we got near the festival area. They were checking many of the other cars but not ours. I guess we were lucky.

A question to those of you that came via trains from Berlin:
Did you leave in the same way?
Because I came by train too, but when checking at the Deutsche Bahn website there were no trains scheduled from Schmolln in Sunday.
I was lucky enough to get a ride to Berlin to catch the morning flight to Athens but this year I might need a train back to Berlin.

Try to get to Jena (not that far away - I maybe could give you a ride on Sunday, because I live there) and travel by ICE to Berlin. Station would be Jena Paradies.

Yes we left by train the same way we came (took a little sidetrip to Zwickau though...), spent a night at Leipzig and on monday back to Berlin.
I need to check the trains again, but I really hope there will be trains on Sunday from Schmölln next year too. It was really easy this year.

Spent 14 hours in german trains on way back without seat reservations down to Switzerland. While the others had a flight cancel and stayed in 4 stars hotel for free eating goatcheese sandwiches. This year - plane !
