| The album will not dissapoint those interested though its very different from the debut. Like the cover and inner artwork implies it isthoroughly baroque in musical content as well and will cut the band loose from shackles of MF retro ghetto. Epic, soaring and bombastic. |

Campy band. Fun. I hope the 2nd album is not too far removed from the way the 1st one played out.
If they tried to get all serious and be more than campy fun rock, I think that will be a mistake. |

There needs to be a poll, to see if people consider their taste in music as defining who they are, or their personal actions as in how they behave day to day regardless of appearance and musical inclinations.
Sometimes when reading these threads over the years, one would think some people are terrified of liking something less brutal or considered less cult by the others here... like some dread of being mocked by other frightened actors playing the same game.  |

lords of the board... yes they have spoke, and have ruled against the lordoftherim. perhaps with age, tastes can go by the wayside? now maybe some of you are also parents, in which case this would make more sense as its music you can share with your children no doubt. it would be like adults liking a cartoon like spongebob square pants because its something they can sit down and watch with their kids and actually tolerate (vs dora the explorer or something else) just a thought...
I guess if I had to be forced, I would rather listen to something like Dungen all day over this sub par band. again, this is just matters of opinion though, and certainly not the first time my tastes have clashed with the "lords of the board"
also im sure a certain amount of the fan base are those Rise Above lovers who eat up anything that label shits out (literally)
