Well, the good news is that the record is good. It does not match Joined in Darkness, but did anyone really think it would? I enjoyed the album, and this is a worthy follow-up to JID. Now I can pretend Empire of the Fallen Angel never existed. _________________ Good sellers/traders: metalmac, greenmonster, Transcendence, GoldenBull, Paria

I keep getting email updates from FPR detailing all the little errors and delays that keep holding this release up - it's fucking annoying. How about just shut the fuck up and send an email when it's finally ready to ship? |

If they didn't do that, they'd instead get a bunch of whiny entitled fucks demanding to know what's going on, why don't they have their newest plastic spinning toy yet? They're letting you know what's going on. If you can't bear the horrific pain of receiving updates(an act which is essentially an expression of appreciation either for you having invested into the project via pre-order, or simply for being a Demoncy fan at all), you can ignore the e-mails. If you find this too challenging, you can also divert any future ones into your junk folder and pretend that they haven't come in at all. Jesus Christ.

Interment = thanks for sending me some cash. I think I'll sit around on my ass for a few years now. You'll get your record someday, though... I guess. Leave me alone! Stop talking bad about me on the Internet!
Demoncy = sorry for the holdup, here's why. And here's what we're doing to resolve the problem. |

I've listened to this maybe 10 or 15 times since last night, which is pretty extreme for me as I usually will grow tired of any album after 2-3 continuous plays. I would compare this album to the way the new Profanatica or Beherit albums felt when I first heard them, except I'm enjoying this much better than the recent albums by either of those two. The guitar tone sounds very much like the guitar on "Profanatitas De Domonatia", and with the (I'm assuming) programmed drums even more comparisons could be made between the two albums. The more I hear this album, the more excited I am and the more I enjoy it. This is worth picking up from Amazon if you're tired of waiting for a physical release. _________________ Good sellers/traders: metalmac, greenmonster, Transcendence, GoldenBull, Paria

Thanks but I have to wait. I think refusal to even consider paying to download something is one thing that will eventually separate me from younger kids in the future. _________________ The sweetest sweet scent of their fresh let blood

I bought the CD pre-order in October thinking that would be the quickest way to hear this (we've all been waiting since like 2008-2009 for this thing right?). I'm in the camp of people who doesn't mind downloading a rip while waiting on their purchased copy to arrive, so in this case I paid for the rip to hear it while waiting on my purchased copy.
I am a bit ticked at the "double dip" trick though, months ago they should have put this album up for streaming (similar to NWN's bandcamp page) for those who pre-ordered. _________________ Good sellers/traders: metalmac, greenmonster, Transcendence, GoldenBull, Paria

Bump.
Just got an email from Forever Plagued. The jackets are finished and orders should start shipping soon. _________________ The sweetest sweet scent of their fresh let blood

| If you've already bought ("preordered") the CD, why would you pay for a download? Just download it "illegally". At that point it's legal anyway. |
