Is the "Cthonic Rites" 3LP still available? I kind of dragged my feet on buying and am now in regret. Yes, this band is fucking crushing. Plus, I love HP Lovecraft.

unfortunately it sold out a long time ago, and has already been "egayed" out like a bandit. it sells for well over 150

That is what I have noticed. My fault I suppose. Definitely will not be buying on eBay at that price.

I'd recommend still picking up the 2LP version of Cthonic Rites even without the extra tracks on the 3rd LP the mastering job for vinyl flattens that of the CD.
As far as Sub Templum, I heard it from Dom when he returned to Canada from recording it. Fucking killer, I'll be releasing a very limited cassette version coinciding with the LP/CD.

Moss are certainly a good band, though for UK doom I much prefer Indesinence.

I picked up Indesinence's album and it left me quite cold. I just didn't get into it at all.

I thought it was one of the best albums of last year! Totally loved it! Maybe you should try the Neptunian EP first, admittedly it took me playing that EP to death before the album "clicked" with me.

Oh fuck! I put off buying for ages, though I wish I hadn't! Oh well.

Wow, let me know when you are releasing that. I will definitely take one off you. Ps. Blame Canada, with their beady little eyes and floppy heads from telling lies.... etc.

Re Indesinence, I must give them another spin but it just sounded like slow Death Metal (and not particularly interesting DM at that) and lacked the atmosphere that the likes of Moss exude, IMO.

I guess it's just down to taste, as I find Moss pretty boring. Like I said earlier, maybe the EP would be more to your taste as there's far less death metal parts in that.

Moss fucking rules...cthonic rites was the doom album of the year last year (with Hour of 13 a close second)
I have a copy of the triple LP for trade if anyone needs it...but it would take a lot for me to give it up..

I find no problem with Moss, I just prefer Indesinence, haha.

I should pick up this Moss album at some point anyway.
