Ticket for night 2 and 3 bought. Planning to get in around the 5th and leave around the 12th. Any Germans able to fill me in on what's happening around those dates or things worth seeing? _________________ www.internecion.co.nz

Tickets are still available. The venue capacity is 1000 so make sure to buy your tickets now. I don't know how many tickets will be available at the door. _________________ The only email I have access to is nwnprod (at) gmail (dot) com. I do not have access to my old Yahoo addresses.

You will need about $1500 Min. About $800 for airfare, $200 for shared hostel, and some money for food and transportation. Why don't you go this year? _________________ The only email I have access to is nwnprod (at) gmail (dot) com. I do not have access to my old Yahoo addresses.

I am allowed one festival a year by the wife and I am going to MDF ( I may regret that) 1500 is not bad at all _ I was thinking it would cost more.. I would also go alone -so that makes it harder.. but if his happens next year I will go. |

Nothing personal, but...you need an allowance from your wife to attend at festivals?? And about loneliness: By plane it should take about 8-10 hours (depending on your location), the by airport transfer you it takes about 30 minutes to the location. |

I heard from some source that the Tegel (TXL) airport will close in the year 2012 (and the Tempelhof - THF too)
Because the Schönefeld - SXF airport is rebuilding now and if everthing complete, this place will become the Berlin-Brandenburg International Airport (BBI)
So, Do you think TXL will close before NOVEMBER 2012??
BBI is more far the venue if compare with TXL??
Please give me more info, Germaniac!
THANKS
From THAILAND, Hope the Germany embassy will approve Schengen visa for me. |

No doubt, Tegel would be the nearest airport. But Tegel will be closed in the beginning of June 2012. I just had a closer look on the website of Berlin-Brandenburg International: It takes you about 11 minutes via Airport Express to get to the Ostbahnhof Station. From there you go about 5-10 mintues by feet to the Fritz-Club. Convenient and cheap hostels are nearby, including supermarkets. Public transport is no big deal in Berlin!

I have a house with a mortgage and three children - spending 2 grand and leaving the kids can't happen that often. So one festival a year it is ... Do u have children? Life changes when u do ... |

I can understand that completely. But you're not supposed to spend 2 grand each time you want to attend to festivals, etc. Either way: I did not want to mock on your privacy. |
