Don't think so, I mean the guy from German "Rock Hard"-magazine. |

Then he'd be the one lying on the floor in a huge pool of blood, I reckon. _________________ Solitary Elitism:

Nice fucking fest again, yezz. Best ones were Blasphemy, Revenge, Morbosidad, Rotting Christ (despite Sakis said some dumb shit during the songs again...), Dead Congregation, Pseudogod and Ares Kingdom. |
I wonder what kind of things Sakis said - come on, Lucky man, tell us!
I've witnessed one of the first concerts by Rotting Christ @ 'An' club, Athens, 1990 - maybe spring? - don't remember exact month - it's too many years back! |

Well, no stupid manouvers but said stuff like "Non Serviam! This is fucking metaaaal!! Come on!", which was just really lame... Just shut up and play! _________________

hm...... I guess that just, because they are the most famous metal band of my country, Sakis feels that he must be kind of a frontman, so that's why he says these kind of (dated imo) things - in the old days, he was more 'necro'
Any other recollections from the fest? I guess it's too early to ask something like that, but I'm very curious about Revenge (one of the best records, this year) and Blasphemy - if you get some rest and find the time, share!

Sure. But it was not that bad gig at all. It was better than year ago in Helsinki. No newer songs, only up to Triarchy. Even Visions of the Dead Lovers was played which gets my appreciation for sure! _________________

Revenge were fucking pulverizing, a definite highlight for me.
Hails to all involved in organizing the festival, definitely worth the (fucking long) journey. Suck shit to the losers who can't handle their booze who passed out and missed some killer sets. |

Thanks for the answer,
now, I can't make guesses about those who passed out because of heavy drinking, but to travel all these miles just to end up passing out and messing like that, that's rather funny (to say the least). - or as the young ones say, "epic fail"!
If I could managed to attend the fest, I would be so happy that I couldn't get drunk!

The first band that really destroys me was Wrathprayer, anyway also Pseudogod, Dead Con. and Rotting Christ were great on first (second) day - even if we agree some talks by Sakis sounds dumb. On 10th kills of course Blasphemy - the show was as good as 2 years ago, Sabbat (the drums sounds very bad), Black Witchery (as always!). The Bestial Raids was a great opener (saw them already maybe 6-8times). The whole fest was celebration of metal, cult and alcohol. _________________ www.doom-zine.com

Great fest all in all, I am devasted I missed Pseudogod and Adorior, Wrathprayer as well but shit happens.
Black Witchery´s sound was much too low but... see above.
Dead Congregation reigned again and I was very glad to witness Antediluvian.
Blasphemy destroyed - as opposed to the really, really sloppy performance two years ago they crushed everything. _________________ Oh, what fun we have when we exist.

Revenge CRUSHED everything. It was probably their most devastating and savage performance of those that I've seen. Bathory cover was the great, unexpected shot. WAR! _________________ Slave breeds Slave, Scum breeds Scum |
