It sounds like greek black/death/doom metal. There is a hint of death metal. _________________ The only email I have access to is nwnprod (at) gmail (dot) com. I do not have access to my old Yahoo addresses.

Sounds interesting enough for me. One member from Misery´s Omen?
Then I suspect it is going to be special, good. _________________ Oh, what fun we have when we exist.

Agreed. A shame though. |

Greetings all!
Just wanting to let everyone know that there are only a handful of the CDR demos left.
Worship Him Records is still doing a tape version of the demo sometime soon. |

| Got it today, this was great stuff. I hear the hellenic connection, and also I think Misery`s Omen fans will likek the B-side Victory of Withdrawal. |

The new track for the split with Stargazer is their best I think. _________________ The only email I have access to is nwnprod (at) gmail (dot) com. I do not have access to my old Yahoo addresses.

| this is one of the only 7"s that ive heard recenlty that ive actually played repeatedly. usually 7"s get a play or two and then go into a box for who knows how long. this 7" has stayed close to my turntable since it came out. |

| NWN PROD wrote: | | Originally released as a limited demo CDR only available directly from the band, these debut recordings from Australia’s Sacriphyx were too exceptional to leave in so limited a form. Thus, NWN! is proud to officially release these tracks as a proper vinyl version for wide dissemination and as a precursor to additional upcoming Sacriphyx releases on NWN! that will soon be unveiled. Sacriphyx play melodic and dark black metal predominantly building upon the classic Greek sound established on such seminal albums as “His Majesty at the Swamp” and “Thy Mighty Contract.” These songs are at once epic and triumphant, melancholy and melodic epitaphs to the fallen. Lyrically poignant, the songs articulate the struggle, despair, and valiance of the battle of Lone Pine with an eloquence seldom seen in modern metal. In a scene often overly obsessed with tongue-in-cheek satanic imagery, Sacriphyx’s realistic yet unpretentious demeanor provides much needed elements of realism and emotive depth within the context of the extreme metal underground. Black vinyl with fold-over cover. First 100 website orders on clear vinyl. |
Got it a few days ago , and I must say it is a masterpiece . This descrption above is very close of the musical content . Really , Sacryphix brings a very special feeling ... There is without any doubt an obvious australian touch too . People into Stargazer , Misery omen or even Mournful for the guitar wisdom won't be disapointed . Like all those band , Sacryphix give GOOD MUSIC . I would liked to have the lyrics inside the fold out cover , but I guess it was a choice of Sacryphix . |

This was left out by mistake. I am trying to fix that by posting a PDF and printing up xeroxed inserts. _________________ The only email I have access to is nwnprod (at) gmail (dot) com. I do not have access to my old Yahoo addresses.
