Hi

Can anybody confirm if any of the five Coroner CDs have been re-released? If so, are these re-prints or re-releases? Also, since Noise Records went bankrupt years ago, who did them? Any info is appreciated.

Thank you.
A.

Universal owns the whole Noise catalogue. So it's all up to them.

A lot of their back catalog never really went out of print until a few years ago. Noise just kept pressing them through the 90s and early 2000s. They were re-issued again a few years ago by Noise/Sanctuary (except for Grin).

Are their CDs rare now?
I remember when tower records was going out of buisness I picked up the whole coroner discography including best of cd for 10 dollars each. didnt think they were hard to find.

Anyway you'd think its about time to repress them, seeing as they did the reunion and all.

I think they are rare-ish due to new interest. It's the Running Wild catalog that is really needed on the market...

Not really. Same situation as the Overkill CDs that were in print for 20 years and sold on Amazon new for $6, then a month after they're OOP they were $50 on ebay Laughing

You can still find them easily if you look.

Coroner CDs are not rare at all but Grin is a sold out item. You can get it for 10-15 e but only as a second hand CD.

Same goes for the vinyls, you can get every album for a decent price except Grin. This one is a bit expensive actually.

Höhö, "rare-ish", word of the year.

Yes, Running Wild is another good example. Also, middle-era Voivod could need some re-issue.

Yes their cds are also rare, BUT beware of bootlegs, there is quite a few bootlegs of most running wild and coroner cds, so BE ALERT while buying them, some come from greece, some come from russia or countries near russia like latvia, Azerbaijan republic, etc. Although, there are also resellers from other countries that buy the bootlegs from aforementioned countries to resell. There are also Argentinian versions of running wild cds, I do not know if they are bootlegs or legitimate.
The only coroner full length cd that is NOT rare is Punishment for decadence, the rest are all hard to find and out of print. Or you can get them cheap but the cheap ones are almost always bootlegs.
Here is one of the many bootlegs for sale on ebay:

A lot of Noise stuff is becoming harder to find since Sanctuary went under and Universal took over the catalog. Same goes for many of those cool Neat/Castle NWOBHM reissue packages.

17 euros? Christ. Managed to snag a copy off a guy for 10 bucks a few years ago. He also threw in No More Color for free because it was missing the tray card.

I wonder if they will re-issue their whole discography.

If they are, that's a weird one to begin with.
