There probably aren't any bands with a completely flawless back catalogue.
Living Death were fairly consistant, as were Flames (Grc), and they both managed to switch from steady Heavy stuff to the later mad speedy thrash. Summon the Dead is hideously overlooked as well.
Suprised there's not more mention for Canadian bands yet (Razor, Sacrifice... went downhill a bit towards the end, but who doesn't?!?)
And Mortem, definitely! |

I wholeheartedly agree with and/or propose the following:
Led Zeppelin
Motorhead
AC/DC (lets just pretend Blow Up Your Video doesn't exist)
Judas Priest
Sacrifice
Voivod (probably one of the few bands that TRULY deserves to be here)
Dismember
Bolt Thrower
Not sure if anyone has said it yet, but Black Sabbath as well. |

Razor's last album blew.
I can think of bad Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, and Dismember has a couple weak releases..
I didn't read the whole thread.. is it bands with more than three albums that have flawless catalogues? _________________

Yeah I agree about Priest and Sabbath, I thought Jugulator and Demolition were shit and 'Angel of Retribution' was slightly better but still not great. With Sabbath, the first 6 are amazing 'Technical Ecstasy' is shit and 'Never Say Die' is only ok then 'Heaven and Hell' and 'Mob Rules' are good and after that I don't care about Sabbath. I think Razor and Dismember have always made decent albums. Dismember never released anything as good as 'Like An Ever Flowing Stream' but the next 3 albums are still really good and after that its just mediocre and with Razor they peaked with 'Violent Restitution' but the latter albums are ok. |

Not one single band I like that has more than three records under their collective belt has a flawless catalogue. Most bands make at least one dud record in their time. Usually that dud record (or those dud records) highlight the quality of their great records.
Order From Chaos made three full length albums and as such their catalogue is flawless in my eyes. They never made more than three albums so they're exempt from this thread on that basis. _________________

inquisition is musically great but the vocals are a huge let down for me. _________________ demonseed hellfucker |

yeah thats a love-or-hate case.
I have nothing against them ; I just find the music very boring after 3 spins or so. _________________ Good/Bad traders list

| I know they were mentioned earlier but again THE CHASM. They only get better with each release. |

| Oh and for some moronic reason I forgot to mention The Supreme Rulers Of Hell NIFELHEIM. No material of theirs is weak enough to consider an album not worthy. Everything they've done RULES. |

Seen Dismember mentioned a few times...
Am I the only one who thinks "Massive Killing Capacity" was complete crap?
I'd say Macabre has a flawless catalog. I feel they've never once changed their style and have actually gotten better with each release. |

Desaster
Witchburner
D666
Mortem
Sabbat
Nifelheim
Death
Anvil
Iron Maiden
Blitzkrieg
Sodom
Protector
Living Death
Devil Lee Rot
Vader
Morbid Angel
Too bad but Razor and Sacrifice last albums both sucks.
Lots of people included bands that doesn't have 3 full lenght albums. Witchtrap, Pentacle, Metalucifer and Possessed among them would make my list for sure. _________________ http://www.riotor.ca

| You guys are too easy on bands... honestly, Voivod? What the fuck? Have you ever heard the last one?? What about the Eric Forest one? Flawless is a big word that has to be used carefully. |
