I think this album from this crazy band from Iceland is really insane, awesome death metal the way it should be played, with one of the best vocalist. I was wondering if somebody has some news regarding a possible official rerelease, I think it would be time as I am sure lots of people have been waiting for it. _________________ Good sellers: Iscariah, Grav, Madcow, Necrogoat |

As far as I know the band thinks a re-issue is unnecessary.
It was released both on CD and LP some twenty years ago. _________________ There is a country called Tír na N Óg, which means the Country of the Young, for age and death have not found it; neither tears and loud laughter have gone near it. The shadiest boskage covers it perpetually. |

| Sadly, the band themselves don't own the rights to this album as far as I know... Actually, some of them don't even have a copy of it! Saw them playing live in Iceland about 18 months though, great show. But it looks there's no plan to do another album, just the occasional gig here and there... |

That way they can ebay the remaining deadstock copies to buy a private jet and move to the bahamas. |

The deadstock is dead. It was all destroyed years ago. _________________ There is a country called Tír na N Óg, which means the Country of the Young, for age and death have not found it; neither tears and loud laughter have gone near it. The shadiest boskage covers it perpetually. |

Supposedly they threw a ton of copies in the trash around 2000 or 2001 because they were sick of trying to get rid of them.
When Charlie was still around and running Mordbrand Musick, he said that when he talked to them about it they were completely against the idea. Something about it being a childish album or something. _________________ If you are a false don't marry! Girlfriend is ok but only destructing anus from behind!!! - Fat Dagon

Haha, i was using sarcasm in my post, didn't think anyone would take it seriously.
Yeah can understand their reasons too a bit since they still had copies 10 years later of a CD they only made 500 copies of, i'm sure they didn't expect in another 10 years for this to be some huge ebay rarity, and despite the fact it is and a 1000 CD run would sell now, those sort of memories can and do put bands off from making reissues.
Chances are with this policy though it'll force them to in order to combat inevitable bootlegs. Actually a bit surprised there isn't one already. |
