Question for the old demo collectatöarrs:
Incantation Demo I, 1990.
I have this one, all pro:
I've seen this version:
looking completely different, with other cover, dubbed regular tape, no fold out, etc.
Which one was first? I don't think at all that mine is a boot, since the pro tape and the good quality of the inlay. _________________ Good/Bad traders list

ohh man there are a lot of cash-in "smart" guys bootleging whatever demo tapes from the 80's-90's so it is really hard to distinguish what is real or fake...
lets put as much reliable demo info as possible on http://www.demoarchives.com/ so we can have a fairly reliable source...just an idea... _________________ BLAZING OBSCURITY TAPE LABEL| http://blazingobscurity.blogspot.com/

I think it's pretty safe to say the pro done is not a bootleg, but you never know it... _________________ Good/Bad traders list

But that would also be a great source for the bootlegers to get info on how to make "perfect" copies... |

The one with the logo on cover is the first one.
I got it from John in his very first letter in 1990!
He was asking me to create a cover for INCANTATION first 7"
"Entrantment of evil"
The art for "Deliverance of horrific prophecies" is from 1991
so the tape using this one can't be older. _________________

I understand your concern snaps666 but for instance take this INCANTATION tape...most of the bottleggers won't even bother to make a pro-looking tape exactly like the original...obviously there will be cases in which will be hard to distinguish because a big amount of demos are/were home-made...on any case the best we can do is ask someone else before getting a rare demo (specially if you are getting that from ebay) _________________ BLAZING OBSCURITY TAPE LABEL| http://blazingobscurity.blogspot.com/

That bottom one has the band's address stamp on it. You should email the band about it. _________________ Your opinion is as insignificant as your existence.

Agree... especially when most of the demos were not professionally done. |
