Not to derail the thread (and sorry if this has been discussed already) but what what else from the Brazilian scene stands out? Other than the usuals (Holocausto, Mystifier, Sextrash, Sepultura, Vulcano, Mutilator, Expulser).

I could never really get into Necrófa-go, both of them.

Brutal Mutilation is fucked up, that's one of my all time favorite demos.

I need to explain better, not get into does not equals "I did not like it", Brutal Mutilation of course is fucking bestial, but not to the same level like Sarcó.

I will keep avoiding the f.a.g.o. until this forum removes this automatic writing feature.

Necrófаgо ("Brutal Mutilation" band) is like more morbid version of Sarcófаgо and one of my all time favourite demos. Sad that they haven't make it to album deal.

I love that the Exterminator LP was released by a latin rock&samba label from the 60s, I'd really like to know the story behind this. I guess maybe they saw the success of Cogumelo and wanted to branch out and have a part of the then emerging metal scene as well?

It could be that the Bemol owner is a relative to someone in the band. Which is usually the case for bizarre label choices.

What about the recent ones that follow the way of Warfare Noise?

I mostly listen Bloody Vengeance (is album on NWN still in plans?) and first Anal Vomit album.

I could never really get into Necrófa-go, both of them.

To each their own I suppose.

Impurity, Insulter, early Murder Rape, early Headhunter DC, Embalmed Souls...

First Attomica is especially great. Exterminio is another good Brazilian band. Lyrics are a bit social justice but killer music

You got it mate, thought about newer bands in general.
I'd like to hear more of those if there are any decent ones.
